Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet carrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down following standard procedures and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson stated in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This event is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft carrying a senior official has suffered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
