Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star has substantial social media audience

The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters as she begins her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior person. He told me to play, relax, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, such as world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence brings golf to new audiences, especially among the next generation.

The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
